So today, I went to my initial regular dentist visit as a result of my urgent dental appointment on the 24th of April 2025. The dentist told me that I have to have an appointment to hygiene my teeth. This was because of the periodontitis that I have been diagnosed with.
The urgent dentist has prescribed me with a strong oral antibiotic on the 24th of May 2025. My regular dentist told me that this medication was so strong and that I should have taken it only for 3 days or 5 days. However, I told her that the urgent dentist told me to take it for 5 days if it was going well. But, my gum was still sore and throbbing but better than before, hence I continued taking it for further until seven days are completed. She then agreed with me. It was I thought a dental floss issue but it was not. The dental floss triggered the gum disease that had been there for quite a while, my urgent dentist told me.
We all encounter pains and difficulties that oftentimes we could not comprehend. I entrust myself to the Lord Jesus Christ, with all the side effects I am having --- the headache the most. However, if I sleep it off - I will be fine. In Hebrews 13 5b “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." This Bible verse I take with me.
Every day miracles happen. If for not with the dental flossing, I may not have this intention to visit my dentist. If not with the dental flossing, I would not have realised the scale of the gum disease that I already have that requires immediate treatment.
